Idaho murders: Police chief supports the inquiry into the quadruple teen killing

As the campus community gathered Wednesday to pay their respects for four University of Idaho students killed on November 13, officials explained new facts in their search to apprehend the perpetrator.

Authorities in Moscow, where the students were discovered, earlier stated that they feared the killings were the product of a targeted attack. However, according to an update issued by the City of Moscow on Wednesday, the attacker or attackers “particularly glanced at this apartment” and “one or more of the residents were probably targeted.”

“Detectives do not currently know if the residence or any occupants were specifically targeted but continue to investigate,” the city’s statement said. Media has reached out to the Moscow Police Communications Team and to the Latah County Prosecutor’s Office for clarification.
