Requirements
- Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
- Brings 10-15 years of architectural experience, including 5 years in the Middle East with a focus on healthcare projects.
- Demonstrates strong technical knowledge in exterior envelope details and material interface.
- Possesses expertise in hospital construction and building codes.
- Exhibits excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and familiar with AUTO CAD.
- Capable of reviewing and commenting on necessary documentation.
- Displays a comprehensive understanding of project management, from initiation to handover.
Job description / Role
Stantec is seeking a Senior Architect to join its team and contribute to the supervision of a large building complex project in Abu Dhabi. Key responsibilities include:
- Actively monitor architectural works for compliance with contract documents.
- Review and process architectural technical submittals.
- Address RFIs related to architecture.
- Supervise and coordinate all architectural activities.
- Evaluate contractor’s architectural change order proposals.
- Lead coordination processes with other disciplines and sub-consultants.
- Review and provide recommendations for contractor’s claims related to architectural works.
- Manage architectural inspectors.
- Analyze laboratory and testing reports.
- Assist in inspecting completed works and monitoring project phases.
- Sign off on completed architectural works with proper documentation.
- Prepare weekly planning and reports.
- Perform additional duties assigned by Architectural PM.
Salary
AED 22,000 to 26,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
