The Rajkot bride was seen calmly sitting at a desk, writing responses, wearing a red lehenga and heavy jewelry.
The film sparked a serious discussion on how, even in 2021, many young girls will have to give up their dream of obtaining higher education in order to marry off.
The bride, named by local media as Shivangi Bagthariya, is a Shanti Niketan College student who was taking her fifth-semester test for a Bachelor of Social Work degree (BSW).

According to accounts, she arrived at the location with her would-be husband, who was also dressed in bridal attire.
The bride later stated to reporters that the date of their wedding was planned before the test schedule was released and that it unfortunately overlapped.
Both families, however, recognized the importance of the test and altered the muhuraat times so she could exchange vows after taking the exam first.
Many people complimented the mother and her family for prioritizing education, saying that they might set an example and motivate other families in similar situations to do the same.
