ISLAMABAD: The federal government has also reduced the prices of light diesel oil and kerosene for the next 15 days.
According to a notification issued by the Ministry of Finance, the price of light diesel has been decreased by Rs7.03 per litre, bringing the new rate to Rs163.77 per litre.
The price of kerosene oil has been reduced by Rs1.48 per litre, setting the new price at Rs192.86 per litre.
Earlier, the government had also cut the prices of petrol and high-speed diesel. Petrol was reduced by Rs2 per litre, while high-speed diesel dropped by Rs4.79 per litre.
The revised prices—Rs263.45 per litre for petrol and Rs279.65 per litre for high-speed diesel—came into effect from midnight.
