ISLAMABAD – The capital city experienced intense heat today, with forecasts indicating possible rainfall in the evening. Despite the expected rain, humid conditions are likely to continue in Islamabad.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted rain, gusty winds, and thundershowers across Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Murree, Galliyat, Attock, Chakwal, Tala Gang, Jhelum, and other areas of Punjab from July 22 to 25, with intermittent breaks.
Earlier forecasts suggested that rain could impact Islamabad, Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Gilgit-Baltistan on Wednesday, with isolated showers expected in eastern Balochistan.
Additionally, the Met Office has forecast rain, wind, and thundershowers in Kashmir, including Neelum Valley, Muzaffarabad, Rawalakot, Poonch, Hattian, Bagh, Haveli, Sudhanoti, Kotli, Bhimber, and Mirpur, over the next three days, with occasional gaps.
In Gilgit-Baltistan, the PMD expects mainly partly cloudy to cloudy weather, with rainfall activity predicted for Diamir, Astore, Skardu, Gilgit, Ghanche, and Shigar from today until July 27, with occasional breaks.
