Since 1963, the Pakistan Association Dubai has served the community as a volunteer, non-profit social welfare and cultural organization for expatriate Pakistanis.

In 2004, Arfa Abdul Karim Randhawa, a Pakistani student and computer prodigy, became the youngest Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP). Her achievement was submitted to the Guinness Book of World Records.
