Two people died in multi-vehicle crash in Buckinghamshire

A serious collision involving numerous automobiles on the M40 southbound claimed the lives of two people in Buckinghamshire, according to authorities.

Just around 08:15 GMT, it occurred between Stokenchurch and High Wycombe in Buckinghamshire.

According to Thames Valley Police, 10 further persons had minor injuries, while two more people were transported to the hospital with critical injuries.

According to National Highways, the M40 southbound between junctions four and five would be closed for a “significant duration.”

“Due to the nature of the incident, the closure is expected to be protracted,” it said.

A little after 11:30, the northbound carriage was also reopened after being closed.

The air ambulance attended the situation together with all other emergency agencies.
