COAS Asim Munir visit troops, review field exercise at Khairpur Tamewali

Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir on Saturday paid a visit to Khairpur Tamewali (KPT) where he observed a field exercise conducted by the Bahawalpur Corps.

Upon arrival, the COAS Asim Munir was warmly received by the Commander of Bahawalpur Corps.

During the visit, the COAS received a briefing on the exercise, which aims to enhance the professional skills of the troops across different levels and familiarize them with battlefield procedures for future challenges.

Army chief witnessed integrated fire and battle maneuvers involving various elements, including Armour, Mechanized Infantry, Artillery, Air Defense, and Anti-Tank Guided Missiles (ATGMs).

This display of military prowess was supported by the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) and Combat Aviation.

Following the exercise, General Asim Munir interacted with the participating troops, expressing his appreciation for their training standards, operational preparedness, and high morale.

COAS Munir directed the troops to continue serving the nation with traditional zeal and passion in all circumstances.

Acknowledging the challenges, the COAS Munir emphasized that with the nation’s support, the military is prepared to thwart any nefarious designs by enemies of Pakistan.

He reassured that the Pakistan Army is fully equipped to defend the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the country against all odds.

General Asim Munir concluded by stating that, with the support of the nation, the Armed Forces are determined to defeat any threats to Pakistan.
