Nation honors 52nd martyrdom day of war hero Sawar Hussain in 1971

Rawalpindi: The Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, and Services Chiefs have paid homage on the occasion of the 52nd martyrdom anniversary of Sawar Muhammad Hussain Shaheed Nishan-e-Haider.

According to the Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR) department of the Pakistan Army, during the 1971 Indo-Pak war, Mohammad Hussain Shaheed Sawar caused heavy damage to the enemy with fearlessness and unparalleled courage in the Zafarwal Shakargarh sector.

The Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army added that Sawar Muhammad Hussain Shaheed single-handedly destroyed 16 Indian tanks on the Zafarwal front.

Undoubtedly, the Martyrdom Day of Sawar Mohammad Hussain Shaheed is a manifestation of the sacrifices made by the Pakistani forces for the motherland.

The ISPR further stated that these shining stars who laid down their lives for the honor of the country undoubtedly deserve honor and respect, and the entire nation is proud of their brave sons.
