The opening ceremony of long joint exercise Druzhba-V was held at Tarbela on Sunday (today).
According to the tweets by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Pak-Russian Federation Special Forces are participating in two weeks-long counter-terrorism exercise.
The military’s media wing also announced in the tweet that the opening ceremony was held today. National anthems of both countries were played at the start of the ceremony.

In another tweet, ISPR mentioned that the ceremony was attended by the Russian ambassador to Pakistan, Mr. Danila Ganich. Senior officials from both the armies also attended the ceremony.
