Once flourishing due to its back-to-back hit films, the Pakistani film industry delivered some brilliant movies with stellar cast members, epic scripts, and good storylines executed properly. Successful films like “Na Maloom Afraad,” “Jawani Phir Nahi Aani,” “Karachi Se Lahore,” “Actor In Law,” “Punjab Nahi Jaungi,” and “Load Wedding” raised audience expectations from filmmakers. However, soon after COVID-19 hit, the film business in Pakistan declined, and filmmakers stopped creating new content due to the dwindling audience. Filmmakers struggled to produce quality films, with only a few exceptions such as “Quaid E Azam Zindabad” and “The Legend of Maula Jatt. Nowadays, only a few are daring to produce films, and Wajahat Rauf is one among them.

Wajahat Rauf is making a comeback with his film Daghabaz Dil, starring the queen of the Pakistani film industry Mehwish Hayat. The cast also includes Momin Saqib, Ali Rehman Khan, Saleem Sheikh, Babar Ali, Beo Zafar Rana, Tazeen Hussain, Laila Wasti, Ayesha Khan, and Michelle Mumtaz. Badar Ikram and Shazia Wajahat are serving as the producers, with Wajahat Rauf directing the film. Hum Television Network is partnering as the media partner for the film. Mohsin Ali and Wajahat Rauf penned the scripts, stories, and dialogues.

Today, the producer Shazia Wajahat released a beautiful teaser of the film. The teaser introduced the cast, characters, and the storyline. Mehwish Hayat and Ali Rehman Khan showcased a great filmy pairing with their exceptional screen presence and charisma.
