Former Indian professional tennis player Sania Mirza recently shared her remarkable Hajj experience through a series of touching pictures and videos on Instagram, featuring the Holy Kaaba and her visit to Masjid-e-Nabawi, the Prophet’s (PBUH) mosque.
Last month, Sania traveled to Saudi Arabia to undertake the annual Hajj pilgrimage, a significant event for Muslims. In her Instagram post, she expressed her gratitude to Almighty Allah for granting her this “journey of a lifetime.”
“To say I had a journey of a lifetime is putting it mildly. It was an experience for my body and soul like I could have never even imagined. Alhamdulillah and SubhanAllah x 10000 over,” Sania wrote, sharing her deep emotional connection to the pilgrimage.
The post included a picture of her hand touching the Holy Kaaba, an image of its magnificent door, and a top view of the Grand Mosque of Makkah with thousands of pilgrims in prayer and circumambulating the Kaaba. She also posted pictures and videos from Masjid-e-Nabawi in Medina, including a photo with her father and sister in front of the Holy Kaaba.
In June, the 37-year-old announced her spiritual journey to Makkah on Instagram. This visit was not her first to Saudi Arabia; last year, after retiring from tennis, she performed Umrah with her close ones.
