PARIS — At the 55th Paris Air Show 2025, China has introduced a groundbreaking unmanned air taxi, marking a significant milestone in urban air mobility (UAM).

The innovative eVTOL (electric vertical takeoff and landing) vehicle, designed to carry two passengers for up to three hours, has captured the attention of aviation experts and investors worldwide.

This autonomous flying taxi features VTOL technology, allowing vertical takeoff and landing without the need for a runway. Its electric propulsion makes it eco-friendly and suitable for urban environments, helping to reduce traffic congestion and carbon emissions. With a payload capacity of up to 600 kilograms, the aircraft demonstrates impressive engineering and sustainability.

Equipped with advanced onboard navigation systems, the air taxi ensures precise routing, obstacle avoidance, and safe landings in diverse weather conditions. Industry analysts believe this innovation could revolutionize urban transportation, offering a fast, efficient, and eco-conscious alternative for city commuters.
