Nvidia Shield 9.1 has Auto Low Latency Mode

Nvidia updated Shield TV software.

Nvidia has released an updated software package for all Shield TV models. Based on Shield Experience 9.0, the update adds an Auto Low Latency Mode, a Night Listening Mode, and the ability to upsample HDR10 video at 60 fps using AI.

This week, Nvidia Shield Experience 9.1 began rolling out to all Shield and Shield Pro devices.

After upgrading, SHIELD Controller 2017 or 2015 wouldn’t auto-pair.

Shield app

Fixes SHIELD TV app issue where users couldn’t copy/paste text while watching GeForce NOW (passwords, URL, etc)

Improves stream to twitch duration forever
* System unresponsive after enabling Dolby Audio Processing from quick menu
* Fixes SHIELD’s surprising awakening
* Improved HDMI-CEC compatibility
* It fixes app switcher (double-tap home) not showing latest snapshot
* After upgrading, D-pad “up” and “down” didn’t work.
