The People’s Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF) warplane approached a Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) CP-140 Aurora long-range patrol aircraft on several occasions between April 26 and May 26, the Canadian Armed Forces said in a statement on Wednesday.
“During these interactions, PLAAF aircraft failed to adhere to international air safety norms,” according to the statement.
