President Joe Biden continued his on-again, off-again feud with SpaceX creator Elon Musk on Friday, wishing him “a lot of luck” on the Moon after expressing pessimism about the US economy here on Earth.

Musk has made it known that he is not a fan of Biden, and according to international news agency, Musk informed Tesla executives that he has a “super bad feeling” about the US economy and intends to downsize the company’s staff by 10%.

Biden responded to Musk’s reported remark by pointing to growth among Tesla rivals, which analysts see as potentially indicating a good way forward for the post-pandemic economy.

“Let me tell you, while Elon Musk is talking about that, Ford is increasing their investment overwhelmingly,” Biden stated.

“The former Chrysler corporation, Stellantis, they are also making similar investments in electric vehicles,” Biden added.
