Petrol shortage news has triggered panic buying among the residents of Karachi but now the state-run Pakistan State Oil (PSO) has rejected the rumors and said there is no shortage of fuel in Karachi and advised people not to panic.
PSO spokesperson said that PSO has sufficient stocks of petrol and diesel available and there is absolutely no issue of fuel supply and the supply continues uninterrupted across the country.
The supply from all depots is continuing apart from the Ramadan timings and the supply from depots will continue on Sunday as well, PSO spokesperson said.
