Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah on today (March 23) decided to disburse the salaries and pensions of Sindh government employees.

According to the details, In a statement issued by the CM Sindh spokesperson said that CM Murad Ali Shah has decided to release pensions of the retired employees from March 25, 2020 onwards positively.

In this context the finance ministry has been advised to start disbursing the pensions from 25th of March.

CM Sindh has been green-signaled the payments for salaries and pensions while others have been stopped.

Soon after getting the directions of CM Murad, the finance ministry has written a letter to the Accountant General.

Coronavirus: Lockdown starts across Sindh, including Karachi

Earlier, Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah has announced lockdown in province in order to fight against the deadly coronavirus.

In a statement issued after a meeting, the chief minister said we are taking this important decision in the interest of people and hoped that the public will support the government.

The Sindh government on Saturday sought Pakistan Army’s help to deal with the deadly virus.

In a letter to the Ministry of Interior, the Sindh government requested to deploy armed forces in aid to the civil power in the province under Article 245 of the constitution.
