In response to the reporter, Anthony Mackie said, “Hey Tom, looking forward to seeing you when I get to London, baby. You’re beautiful.” This hints at the upcoming “Avengers: Doomsday”, as the film was recently announced to begin its initial filming in London.
According to reports, “Avengers: Doomsday” will begin its principal photography in England in March this year. While much about the cast remains under wraps, the “Twisted Metal” actor's comment also suggests his involvement alongside Tom Holland.
The actors announced so far for “Avengers: Doomsday” include Robert Downey Jr., who will play Dr. Doom, as well as stars from “The Fantastic Four: First Steps”. Pedro Pascal will portray Reed Richards, aka Mr. Fantastic; Joseph Quinn will play Johnny Storm, aka The Human Torch; Vanessa Kirby will take on the role of Sue Storm, aka Invisible Woman; and Ebon Moss-Bachrach will be seen as Ben Grimm, aka The Thing.
“Captain America: Brave New World” will showcase Mackie’s Sam Wilson fully embracing the mantle that once belonged to Steve Rogers, the man out of time. The movie will also introduce Harrison Ford to the MCU, where he will play U.S. President Thaddeus Ross and Red Hulk.
