Pakistan’s rising snooker star Asjad Iqbal has delivered a stunning performance on the global stage, storming into the semi-finals of the IBSF Snooker World Cup in Oman after outclassing some of the toughest competitors in the tournament.
In a commanding quarter-final display, Asjad defeated India’s renowned cueist Pankaj Advani, showcasing exceptional skill and nerves of steel.

According to Naveed Kapadia, Secretary General of the Pakistan Billiards & Snooker Association and Head Referee of the championship, Asjad dominated the match with frame scores of 0-100, 37-92, 16-117, and 21-83, delivering remarkable breaks of 81 and 21-83.
The Pakistani cueist sealed the match with an emphatic 0-4 victory, after which both players exchanged handshakes and embraced in a moment of sportsmanship.
Earlier in the event, Asjad secured his place in the quarter-finals by defeating Mina Awwad with a confident 1-4 win.
