KARACHI: The Karachi is experiencing a slowdown in sea breeze today, with hot and humid weather conditions prevailing.
The minimum temperature recorded this morning was 28°C, while humidity levels stood at 78 percent.
According to the Meteorological Department, the monsoon system is expected to influence Sindh, including Karachi, from the night of August 17 or from August 18. Rainfall is likely in the city between August 18 and 21.
The sky remains partly cloudy, with no significant chances of heavy rainfall today. The sea breeze has weakened, contributing to increased humidity levels across the city.
On Friday morning, the minimum temperature was recorded at 28°C, with the maximum likely to reach 35°C. Humidity levels stood at 78 percent, and winds were blowing at just 10 kilometers per hour, making conditions feel especially sticky and uncomfortable.
A high chance of showers is expected between August 18 and 21, offering residents a break from the persistent heat and humidity.
