The Issue: Disrupted Online Payment Systems

Technical problems have arisen in IESCO’s online bill payment system, rendering it unfeasible to make payments via banking apps or 1link. Consequently, lengthy queues have formed outside IESCO offices and banks.

The Workaround: Pay Your Bill through Banking Apps

We've found a solution that functions with many banking apps, including the Allied Bank (ABL) mobile app. Here's the process:

1. Open your banking app and head to the “Payments” option.
2. Select “New Payments” and choose the “1 Bill” option instead of “Utility”.
3. Scroll down to the “Others” option and add a prefix (e.g., 111444) to the “Reference No/Customer ID” field.
4. Add your reference number and you’ll be able to see your bill.
5. Pay your bill from the same tab.

Try it Out!

Try this method with banking apps that offer the 1 Bill payment option. It should enable you to pay your IESCO bill online seamlessly, without any trouble.
