The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecasted rain, wind, and thunderstorms in the upper districts of Punjab on Friday and Saturday. According to the PMD, Lahore and most parts of Punjab will experience mainly dry weather with gusty winds on Thursday evening and night due to prevailing continental air.
On Friday and Saturday, partly cloudy weather with isolated rain, wind, and thunderstorms is anticipated in Murree, Galyat, and the Potohar regions. Meanwhile, central and southern Punjab can expect hot weather accompanied by gusty winds, raising dust in some areas. The rest of the province is predicted to have partly cloudy and dry conditions during this period.
In Lahore, temperatures are expected to range between 33 and 35 degrees Celsius on Friday and 34 and 36 degrees Celsius on Saturday.

During the last 24 hours, dry weather dominated Lahore and most parts of Punjab, with hot weather prevailing in southern districts. Bahawalpur recorded the highest temperature in the province at 39 degrees Celsius, with relative humidity at 19 percent during the evening. In Lahore, the maximum temperature was recorded at 35 degrees Celsius, with relative humidity at 23 percent during the evening.
