In a recent interview, Saeed discussed his role in "Gentleman" and commended Yumna Zaidi for her professionalism, revealing why she was his first choice for the series.

Talking about Yumna Zaidi, Humayun Saeed said, “Yumna Zaidi is an acclaimed actor and her acting is praised by fans, I am also admirer of her work. I knew from the very beginning that this particular character of a journalist belongs to Yumna Zaidi. Initially, when we offered it to her, she was concerned about her character, she asked if she was suitable for this character, to which I said, ‘the character is written for you’. I also urged her to read the script. Yumna Zaidi read the script and was agreed to do it. Also, Yumna Zaidi is a brilliant actor who is not interested in make-up and other activities, instead, she’s more focused towards her scenes. I am also like that and I love to see such professionals in Pakistan”.
