Gary Kirsten, the head coach for Pakistan’s men’s white-ball cricket team, has joined the squad in Leeds for their four-match T20I series against England.
Team management and captain Babar Azam welcomed Kirsten, with senior manager Wahab Riaz presenting him with the team’s training shirt.
The Pakistan team is scheduled to practice from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM local time on May 20, with their final training session before the first T20I set for Tuesday from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM.
The opening T20I between Pakistan and England will take place at Headingley, Leeds, on May 22.
This T20I series holds significant importance for both teams as the World Cup begins in the United States just two days after its conclusion.
Pakistan is placed in Group A of the World Cup along with India, Ireland, Canada, and the USA. England is in Group B with Australia, Namibia, Scotland, and Oman.
