WATCH: Abrar Ahmed takes "incredible" catch to dismiss Tom Latham

On Thursday in Karachi, Pakistan’s spinner Abrar Ahmed made an incredible catch to get rid of New Zealand’s opener Tom Latham in the second innings of the second Test.

Latham flicked Naseem Shah’s nice length ball off his back foot when it was on his pads. However, Abrar dove to his left to take a one-handed catch as he played the shot in the air.

In response to New Zealand‘s 449 first-innings total, Pakistan was bowled for 408 runs at the start of the day after only adding one run to their overnight total.

As the host team fell from 385-5 to 408 all out, Pakistan lost its final five wickets for just 23 runs.

Centurion Saud Shakeel was left stranded on the other end after spinner Ish Sodhi trapped last man Abrar Ahmed leg-before for nothing.

After 493 arduous minutes at the wicket and 17 boundaries in his debut hundred, Shakeel was unbeaten on 125.

Imam-ul-Haq (83) and Sarfaraz Ahmed contributed significantly to Pakistan’s first innings as well (78). Agha Salman contributed with 41 runs in the meantime.

Ajaz Patel, a spinner, finished with 3-88, and Sodhi, 3-95.

After the first Test, which was also played in Karachi, concluded in a draw, the two-game series is now knotted.
