At least 19 people have been killed and 66 injured in Russian drone and missile attacks across Ukraine.
Russia has launched over 470 drones and 48 ballistic and cruise missiles on various cities in Ukraine, including the capital Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnipro, and other key areas, according to reports.
The attacks left many buildings in ruins, while power and water systems were severely affected. Electricity was disrupted in several regions of Ukraine, while several power plants were affected.
Citizens took refuge in metro stations and underground shelters overnight. Officials say the Russian attacks are aimed at crippling Ukraine’s energy infrastructure.
