Jennifer Grey recently revealed in her novel Out of the Corner that she had two nose jobs that nearly cost her “her identity and career” in Hollywood.

In an exclusive interview with The New York Times, the actress remembered how the 1987 breakthrough film Dirty Dancing quickly made her “America’s sweetheart,” but she had no other offers due to “her nose.”

Jennifer had to have two rhinoplasty procedures to fix her nose as a result of this.

Her nose was “truncated and dwarfed” after the second surgery, rendering her unrecognizable premiere to superstars like Michael Douglas, whom she had known for a long time

“It was my first time going out in public.” “I was no longer me in the eyes of the world,” the 62-year-old said of the impact of plastic surgery on her life.

“I expended so much energy attempting to figure out what I had done wrong and why I had been expelled from the kingdom.” That is a fabrication. I exiled myself “she continued.

Meanwhile, the actress spoke of her dating days with Matthew Broderick, her co-star in Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, and a “bonfire” romance with Johnny Depp.

Jennifer remarked that she is looking forward to the second chapter of her life after her divorce from Clark Gregg in 2020 and getting rid of her nose job “She’s never felt more at ease in her own skin.”
