Iran unveils new form of accommodation-Take a look!

Amid the coronavirus outbreak in the country, Iran has unveiled the capsule hotels to be used as a new form of accommodation in different provinces of the country.

According to the details, Iranian Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts Ali Asghar Munesan said that in the first phase, 200 units of this capsule hotels will be set up in different cities, including Tehran, Mashhad, Isfahan, Shiraz and Tabriz

Mounesan said, “The use of this model of accommodation can be used as a new form of accommodation in the field of tourism.”

One of the advantages of these hotels is that they will cause great changes in eco camping and will be used as appropriate and affordable accommodations, he said.

Moreover these hotels can be provided to tourists in various camps, airports, passenger terminals, railways, and the like, he said.

Furthermore a capsule hotel is also known in the Western world as a pod hotel is a type of hotel developed in Japan that features many small bed-sized rooms known as capsules.

First debuted in the year 1979, capsule hotels were, at the time, considered to be the height of Japanese practicality and performance.

The word, capsule, first began to enter Japanese vocabulary in the 1960s and has connotations of technological advancement, as well as a compact and futuristic design.
