While dancing needs a great deal of ability and expertise in and of itself, a young woman is causing a stir on the internet by performing a traditional Rajasthani dance while skating!

Krishna Kanwar Gahlot, a professional speed skater with several world records, recently took part in a cultural event organized by the state and became the buzz of the town for spinning on rollerblades while dancing to traditional melodies.

The young artist was dressed in traditional garb and jewelry and was seen dancing to live music. The recordings were first released by Twinkal Baisa, the organizer of the Odhani 2021 event in Udaipur, and have since been shared by a number of accounts on Instagram and Twitter.

Netizens praised her for her talent and connection to her heritage, as they were astounded by her composure and elegance while maintaining her balance on wheels.

Many people who commented on the photo noted that whereas some people struggle to walk in heavy lehengas, they were blown away by her ability as she skated in them.
