Fezco, the dog, was surrendered to the Stanly County Animal Protective League when his owners discovered him huffing another male canine. Because his owners claimed the dog was gay, a North Carolina dog was abandoned and transferred to an animal shelter.

According to a UNILAD report. The dog, which is thought to be between the ages of four and five, is said to get along well with both humans and animals.

Such conduct is all too prevalent among dogs, according to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), ”Mounting or thrusting can be part of normal play behaviour for pets and not necessarily indicative of their sexuality. Dogs sometimes mount other animals ‘to display social status or control.”

Fezco’s storey has been shared on Facebook, and the shelter is asking area rescue organisations to foster him until he gets him forever home.

Meanwhile, animal rights groups slammed Fezco’s prior owners, calling them “hateful” for abandoning him.

As one user stated, ”What the hell? Dogs hump other dogs because Of dominance. What the hell is wrong with these people. This makes me so outraged. And it’s close to my home town. People make me so angry. The people that gave this sweet dog up don’t deserve to have an animal ever again!”

While another stated, “Dogs hump any and everything. I hope a loving family adopts him.”
