Abhishek Bachchan is getting a lot of accolades for his performance in his recent film Dasvi, and his father, Amitabh Bachchan, has been the most vocal about it. “..Abhishek, tum mere uttradhikari hoge, bus keh diya to keh diya!” commented Senior Bachchan on social media after the film’s OTT release.

Abhishek is moved, and he tells us that his father may be an international celebrity, but he’s just a regular parent. “Of course, he’s just like any other father. We forget that my parents are also parents at the end of the day. Sometimes I feel sorry for them. They claim to have felt… I know my father has; he told me that he prefers to keep his feelings to himself at times because he doesn’t want people to misinterpret and accuse him of being biassed. It was quite generous of him to say what he did. “It made me quite emotional and grateful,” the 46-year-old adds.

Amitabh Bachchan has been posting songs and retweeting fan comments regarding Abhishek’s performance in Dasvi on his Twitter account. “He’s quite enthusiastic.” We have a tendency to forget. As a mom myself, I understand that you are unable to see past your children. When you see them happy, healthy, and ideally successful, it brings you so much joy,” the actor continues.
