Following a dynamic 2024, Hyundai is gearing up for an equally eventful 2025 with the launch of several new and updated models in India. Here’s a look at the anticipated releases.

Hyundai Creta EV

The much-awaited Hyundai Creta EV is set to debut on January 17, 2025, at the Bharat Mobility Expo. While retaining the design of the existing Creta with subtle tweaks, the Creta EV will feature a 45 kWh battery and is expected to share its powertrain with the Hyundai Kona Electric.

Competing with the MG ZS EV, Tata Curvv EV, and Maruti e Vitara, the Creta EV is poised to make waves in the electric SUV segment.

After its debut in 2024, the Hyundai Ioniq 5 Facelift will hit the Indian market in the second half of 2025. This updated version will be 20mm longer and feature enhanced aerodynamics with an extended rear spoiler. The facelift promises to refine the already popular EV for better performance and style.

Hyundai Venue (Second Generation)

Hyundai’s popular compact SUV, the Venue, is expected to enter its second generation in 2025. A test mule was spotted in South Korea earlier in 2024, hinting at its development. The new Venue is likely to debut globally in mid-2025, followed by an India launch towards the year’s end. The second-gen Venue will likely retain its engine options: a 1.2-litre petrol, 1.0-litre turbo petrol, and 1.5-litre diesel.

With these exciting launches, Hyundai is set to solidify its position in India’s evolving automotive market.
