Following the successful launch of the Kia EV5 in October 2024, Kia Lucky Motors is preparing to introduce another electric SUV, the Kia EV9, in Pakistan. The company recently teased a major announcement, building excitement among automotive enthusiasts.

Kia Pakistan shared a social media post stating, “The foundation of luxury is taking its form; every detail tells a story, so stay tuned.” This hint has led to speculations that the Kia EV9 will be unveiled soon in the country. While Kia has kept the official launch date, price, and other details under wraps, reports suggest some exciting features of the upcoming SUV.

Kia EV9 Features

The Kia EV9 will showcase a bold and modern design, with a sleek “Digital Tiger Face” grille and sharp, narrow headlights. The rear of the vehicle features a wide, horizontal light bar that adds to its striking look.

Inside, the EV9 will offer a curved panoramic display and a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system. It will also come equipped with advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) for improved safety and convenience.

Powertrain Options

The Kia EV9 will offer multiple powertrain options, including a single-motor rear-wheel drive (RWD) setup and a dual-motor all-wheel drive (AWD) system. The base RWD model will deliver 215 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, with an estimated range of 230 miles. The “Light Long Range” variant, featuring a 99.8-kWh battery, is expected to offer an impressive range of 304 miles on a single charge.

Kia EV9 GT Variant

The top-of-the-line Kia EV9 GT variant will be the most powerful version, with two motors capable of accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.3 seconds, providing a thrilling driving experience.
