15 US Trade delegations planned to visit Pakistan in 2020

The United States has aimed to expand trade relations with Pakistan by sending 15 trade delegations next year.

According to the international news agency, Alice Wells, the US Assistant Secretary of State said that the US has decided to send trade delegations to Pakistan to strengthen trade relations.

Alice Wells further said that Pakistan is going to be a country of great concern once the Development Finance Corporation will succeed.

Alice Wells read a paper at Washington think-tank in which it was mentioned, “The U.S. Commerce Department has already stepped up its activity in Pakistan with 15 trade delegations planned for next year.” It was also stated, “Pakistan is going to be a country of great interest once new expanded Development Finance Corporation stood up.”

It was also discussed in the paper that the investment of DFC will rise to 60 billion from 29 billion; more than double the investment. High-standards Projects will be executed.

Apart from that, it was also stated in the paper, “ExxonMobil has been working to support Pakistan’s ambitious effort to access new LNG supplies.” “The US Firm accelerate is prepared to potentially invest more than $300 million to upgrade a floating storage regasification unit in Pakistan’s first LNG terminal.”
