Rs17.6 bn refunds to be released to exporters

The textile division has approved the release of more than 17 billion rupees refunds to the exporters.

According to details, secretary textile division Sardar Ahmed Nawaz Sukhera has given the approval to release over Rs17.6 billion refunds to the exporters.

he also added that it will be easier to solve the enduring problem of refunds after the issuance for the exporters.

It was said in announcements given by Finance ministries that progress in exports is one of the top priorities of the government, the present government has facilitated textile value chain, and the export of value-added textile products has increased.

It was also said in the announcement that the present government is paying pending dues, Rs2.54 billion and Rs4 billion 68 crores are pending under the DLDL scheme of 2009 to 2011. Whereas, there are Rs30 crores pending under the scheme of 2016 to 2017. The present government has given approval to immediately pay the dues
