Automaker Nissan has said that its sales in the world’s biggest auto market, China rose 5.1% in September from a year earlier, to 141,595 vehicles.

According to the details, as per the company’s statement the automaker Nissan sold 985,474 vehicles in China in the first nine months, which represents a 9.7% decline from a year ago.

Renowned Automaker Nissan forecasted, earlier a strong recovery in Chinese markets by the year 2021 after suffering massive losses due to the coronavirus pandemic.

However, the company projected a strong recovery in the Chinese market by year-end and plans to expand its presence there.

It is reported that the Japanese Automaker Nissan will launch nine new and redesigned electric models in China by 2025, including plug-in electric vehicles and hybrid electric cars.
