At the beginning of the new business week, Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) remained under pressure just like it ended on October 2nd, due to selling in different sectors.

According to the details, BRIndex100 lost 190.49 points to close at 4,143.32 points. 366.719 million shares were the average daily volumes.

BRIndex30 decreased by 1127.75 points on Monday to close at 20,874.12 points with 262.193 million shares average turnover.

On a week-on-week basis, KSE100 Index plunged by 1630.40 points and closed at 40,070.83 points. Due to the investors’ lack of interest, the trading activities remained low and the ready counter decreased by 16.0 percent to 390.98 million shares, however, the previous week’s average was 465.59 million shares.

On the other hand, the average daily trading has improved by 1.0 percent to Rs 13.68 billion. Total market capitalization has decreased by Rs 280 billion to Rs 7.538 trillion.
