The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) is gearing up to host the two-day virtual summit of G20 leaders, an international forum for the governments and central bank governors, for the first time.

According to the details, Saudi Arabia assumed the G20 presidency in December 2019, but as the global outbreak of the coronavirus crippled the world economies, it was decided to hold the summit virtually.

The event that is scheduled to be held on November 21-22, is going to be a landmark one. This year’s theme of the summit includes empowering people, safeguarding the planet, and shaping new frontiers. With the aim of building a more resilient and better world for all, the Summit has attached great attention to the work of the eight engagement groups, as they constituted the core of the efforts of the G20 for this year.
