Automobile manufacturer Nissan voiced its support for the electric car goal introduced by the UK government, but also warned of instability if Brexit raises its costs.

According to the details, the Japanese Automaker in its statement said that the company is all set to meet the goal of British Prime Minister Boris Johnson to make the UK carbon-free with Green Industrial Revolution by putting a ban on the sale of new petrol and diesel cars from 2030. However, the Automobile manufacturer warned that the UK operations would not be sustainable if Brexit significantly raises its costs.

It is the UK’s largest car plant and employs 7,000 staff.

Let it be known that the UK government has announced to ban petrol and diesel cars from 2030 with an aim to make UK carbon-free.

The British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has also earmarked 12 billion British pounds for the project named Green Industrial Revolution.  The project proposals include quadrupling offshore wind power within a decade while increasing hydrogen production capacity for industry, transport, power and homes.
