The CEO of Brazil’s state bank Caixa Economica Federal [RIC:RIC: CEF.UL], Pedro Guimaraes is being examined by the government investigator’s office for inappropriate behavior like harassment, neighborhood news site Metropoles gave an account of Tuesday.

As indicated by the report, the examination was sent off after a gathering of the loan specialist’s workers submitted a question about supposed episodes of inappropriate behavior committed by Guimaraes.

Guimaraes has not tended to the report openly, and the government investigator’s office and Caixa didn’t promptly answer a solicitation for input.

Guimaraes has stood firm on the CEO foothold at Caixa starting from the start of President Jair Bolsonaro’s term in 2019, and had been considered as a potential running mate for Bolsonaro in front of the country’s impending October political race.
