- Abortion pills might be delivered to your home or a lawful address in a neighboring state.
- Telehealth clinics, such as Just The Pill and Choix, are able to prescribe the medication via online consultation.
- A photo ID and selfie are necessary to verify your identity in order to receive the medications.
After the Supreme Court overturned the Roe v. Wade decision on Friday, telehealth abortion clinics said they are still selling pills to people outside their states.
In places where it is allowed, patients can obtain abortion pills online through telehealth providers like Just The Pill and Choix and have them delivered to their homes.

Patients can receive remote care from telehealth firms, including the prescription of drugs to induce abortions. After an online video consultation with a physician, patients can have their medications supplied to them by mail.
Dr. Julie Amaon, medical director of Just The Pill and its programme Abortion Delivered, told Insider, “Just The Pill will provide care to individuals who are able to go to safe states.”
“Therefore, if your state prohibits access to medication abortion, you can fly to a safe state for a telehealth consultation,” she noted.
Amaon stated that patients can pick up their prescription at the mobile clinic or have it mailed to a location in a safe state and wait one or two days for delivery.
Misoprostol and mifepristone, which were approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in 2000, are used for medication abortions. The FDA decided a year ago that abortion drugs can be shipped rather than obtained in person.

In April 2021, the US government also overturned a ban on mail-order abortion drugs, which the Supreme Court had earlier voted to outlaw for postal delivery.
Attorney General Merrick Garland stated on Friday that this means states cannot restrict the abortion drug mifepristone in light of the FDA’s ruling.
