Rolls-Royce delaying the final fix for the 787 while playing the “long game”

Rolls-Royce (RR.L) said it was remembering the big picture on winning requests to control Boeing’s (BA.N) 787 Dreamliner subsequent to fixing most issues with its Trent 1000 motor, despite the fact that one last adjustment had been pushed out to the following year.

He said the pandemic had sped up rebuilding at Rolls, with its expense base cut by a third.
