“We want to rest, not a solitary one of us has dozed for quite a while,” SAS’ lead moderator Marianne Hernaes told columnists after the most recent round of talks which went as the night progressed.

A strike would come at a troublesome time for misfortune-making SAS as it looks to rebuild its business by embracing enormous expense cuts, raising new money, and switching obligations over completely to value as a component of an arrangement to save the transporter from breakdown.

Swedish day-to-day Expressen had before detailed, referring to anonymous sources, that an arrangement had been reached, however, SAS said the discussions were all the while continuing in the desire for deflecting a strike.
