Muhammad Yunus Tabba, a well-known businessman and one of Pakistan’s prominent entrepreneurs, died in the early hours of Tuesday in Karachi.

Muhammad Yunus Tabba was the chairman of Yunus Brothers Group and Lucky Cement Ltd. (YBG).

He began his over-fifty-year career as a founding member of the YBG and saw it progress through manufacturing, sales, management, marketing management, and general management.

With his expertise and diverse experience, he elevated the YBG to a level valued by both the local and international business communities.

Mr Tabba was also named “Businessman of the Year” by the Chambers of Commerce multiple times throughout his illustrious entrepreneurial career.

Yunus Tabba was awarded the “Sitara-e-Imtiaz” — one of the highest civilian honours bestowed by the Government of Pakistan — in recognition of his remarkable accomplishments in the fields of entrepreneurship and public service..
