As shown in the chart below, the coin’s relative strength index (purple) has risen from nearly 20 (oversold) a few days ago to nearly 50, and it appears to be gaining momentum in the coming days.

Furthermore, its 30-day moving average (red) has fallen below its 200-day moving average (blue), implying that another surge above the longer-term average is imminent.

And, with DOGE recovering from Tuesday and Wednesday’s losses, it appears that conditions are ripe for a nice upward correction.

DOGE dropped mid-week in part because researchers at cybersecurity firm Halborn discovered a zero-day vulnerability in Dogecoin’s code, as well as that of some 280-plus networks.

This flaw allowed malicious actors to attack nodes and knock them offline.

Despite the fact that Dogecoin’s developers had already patched the bug prior to Halborn’s disclosure (on Monday March 13), DOGE fell in response.

It’s only now starting to recover, and for some, it’s still a massively undervalued token.

This is largely due to the real possibility that Twitter will introduce DOGE payments in some form in the future.

The fact that this is a real possibility is supported by hints Musk has dropped since he first proposed buying the social network.

Furthermore, according to January reports, Twitter has been accelerating its plans to introduce digital payments on its platform.
