Hyundai is making a smart move by using its big production network to manufacture the flying taxis. The goal is to keep the quality high and, at the same time, bring down the production costs. This fits into their larger plan of making modern air travel easy and cost-effective for people in cities.
Looking ahead, Hyundai’s air mobility branch, is aiming to get certified in the US by mid-2024, planning flight tests later the same year.
The official launch of the S-A2 is expected in 2028, marking a big step in Hyundai’s vision for the future of city air travel.
With its creative design, focus on sustainability, and thoughtful production plan, Hyundai is placing itself as a leader in the growing market of electric vertical takeoff and landing vehicles (eVTOL), with the goal of changing how people travel in cities.
