Today Chicken Rate in Pakistan
Today, there’s a surprising jump in chicken prices that’s causing trouble for shoppers. The hope of buying chicken at regular prices is fading as the poultry crisis gets worse. It’s gotten so bad that traders are stopping chicken supplies from today.
The Punjab Poultry Traders Association has decided not to supply chicken to sellers in cities and other parts of Punjab as part of their strike starting today. The official price for live chicken has gone up by Rs22 per kilogram to Rs463 per kilogram. But traders have raised it even more, charging Rs32 extra per kilogram, making it Rs495 per kilogram.
Because of these high prices, many chicken shops in different areas of the city are staying closed. The Punjab Poultry Traders Association says they’re being charged too much by chicken producers. They’re asking the authorities to set a fair price based on how much chicken is needed and available, like they used to do before.
People buying chicken and the traders are hoping for a solution to this crisis soon. This situation shows how prices in markets can change a lot and affect both businesses and shoppers.
