LAHORE: Chicken meat prices have surged, now standing at Rs 431 per kilogram. The cost of broiler chicken meat has escalated by Rs 8 per kilogram, while live broiler chicken prices have also increased by Rs 5.

Wholesale rates for live broiler chicken have been fixed at Rs 286 per kilogram, with retail prices set at Rs 297 per kilogram.

This increase comes after a recent downward trend in chicken prices, indicating fluctuating market conditions.

Consumers may need to adjust their budgets as they navigate these changes in poultry prices.
