ISLAMABAD: Prize bonds are considered one of the most secure investment options in Pakistan. Their key benefit is offering a chance to win cash rewards without risking the principal amount. Prizes are distributed to first, second, and third-place winners in quarterly draws.

Although the odds of winning are low, the significant prizes make it appealing for many to participate. Another factor contributing to the popularity of prize bonds is the fact that they are regulated by National Savings, which operates under the central bank.

National Savings Bank conducts prize bond draws every three months, and the latest Rs. 200 prize bond draw (No. 99) took place on September 16, 2024, at the Peshawar office of the National Savings Division.
